I started my career as a logistics apprentice in Germany with one of the top players in air and ocean freight forwarding. In over twenty years I was responsible for many different roles around the world from local sales and trade lane manager to executive leadership. In vertical markets and geographic sales territories.

One thing is very clear to me – cargo finds its destination on time because of the dedicated people that manage the process.

There’s no limit to success when the right people are in the right job. Team building is the best part of my work – finding the right talent, getting feedback, and coaching team members into better performance and higher roles. I am passionate about matching the talent with the job, because I know how much more productive the company and people are when they are well-matched.

My experience gives me invaluable insights into what makes leading industrial logistics companies successful. It also gives me an extensive global network of contacts within corporations, common carriers and freight forwarders in the US, Europe, Asia and Latin America.

It was time to put my passion to work. I launched Mach3 Connect in 2015 to find and place exceptional performers in the international logistics arena. Already a respected industry resource for referrals, I’m uniquely qualified to connect companies to candidates that will thrive in their corporate cultures.

Conducting in-depth assessments of job candidates is an extremely time-consuming process. I use my experience as a hiring manager to reduce the waste in the interview process equally for the client as well as the candidates.
